Environmental Audits • Effluent Discharge Analysis

ECOTESCO has been a contractor of Africa Forest Lodges Ltd since 2017 carrying out Annual Environmental Audits for the clients operations at Kereita Forest, Lari Constituency in Kiambu County. The project is in two phases. The first project is called ‘The Forest Adventure Centre’ established as a Centre to promote environmental conservation through fun activities. The project is a Centre for outdoor recreation activities for people who love taking part in adventures as well as relaxation in the natural forest. Popular attractions include the flying fox zip-line tour, The Forest Restaurant and Barbeque, paint balling, archery team building among others  www.theforest.co.ke . The second phase is an Eco-Tourism Resort which is still under construction. ECOTESCO consultants have carried out annual Environmental Audits as well designed annual Environmental Management Plans for the facility. The Environmental Audits have been focused on assessing the performance of the proponent’s environmental management system. Special focus placed on effluent discharge analysis.
