Occupational Safety & Health Awareness Training

The Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) is a state corporation established through the Science and Technology (Amendment) Act of 1979, which has since been amended to Science, Technology and Innovation Act 2013 as the national body responsible for carrying out health research in Kenya.

ECOTESCO was approached to conduct an OSH Awareness Training on behalf of the management for its staff working under the Centre For Public Health Research (CPHR) and Centre for Microbiology Research (CMR). Among the topics covered included Management of Safety and Health at the Workplace; Occupational Safety and Health Legislation; Occupational Accidents; Workplace Health Hazards; Chemical Safety; Personal Protective Equipment and; Occupational Diseases.
